Meet the artist behind Blossom and Press
My Story
Hi! I'm Cynthia, your Toronto-raised, local flower preservation artist. Growing up in the suburb of North York, I explored countless artistic and creative endeavors, from gardening and cake-baking to painting, music, and photography. It wasn’t until I discovered the art of flower preservation to save my own wedding bouquet (my first attempt didn’t go so well) that I discovered my passion for flower preservation. Flower preservation has become my creative outlet, allowing me to craft thoughtful, meaningful, and aesthetically pleasing frames that constantly remind us of life’s beautiful moments.
I specialize in using mixed flower preservation methods to meticulously preserve blooms, ensuring they remain as vibrant as the day they were received. Artistically, I strive for a natural, organic look with the flowers and tailor frame designs to each client’s liking.
Blossom and Press is my muse, and I am excited to bring your story to life with my craftsmanship! My home studio is conveniently located off Highway 404 in Richmond Hill, ON, Canada. Let’s get to know each other—I love to hear your stories!
Cheers,
Cynthia
Fun facts about me: I'm a nurse by trade, I play the cello, and you can catch me playing ultimate frisbee and volleyball when I'm not preserving petals
What makes me different?

At Blossom and Press, I prioritize creating art pieces that truly connect with the individuals they commemorate. I place great importance on incorporating your voices and visions into the design process, ensuring each creation is unique and deeply meaningful. Your personal story and emotions are woven into every piece, making it a cherished and individualized work of art.

Each preserved bloom is a reflection of my dedication to capturing the beauty and essence of the original flowers. The careful attention I give to every stage of the preservation process ensures that the final piece is not only a work of art but also a true embodiment of the natural charm and elegance of the flowers, making each piece truly special.

My art embodies a distinctive, natural, and organic look in every frame I create. I focus on precise color retention with natural color correction techniques that has been perfected over the years. My aim is to achieve a balanced design, ensuring that every glance at the frame captivates attention.
